How Clear Aligner Treatment Works

_

Initial Consultation

The treatment process begins with an initial consultation at A Street Dental, where our Grants Pass dentist will assess your dental condition and determine if clear aligners are the right option for you. You'll have the opportunity to discuss your smile goals and address any questions or concerns you may have.

Customized Treatment Plan

Once you decide to proceed with clear aligners, our team will create a customized treatment plan tailored to your specific needs. Using advanced technology, we will take digital impressions of your teeth and design a series of aligner trays that will gradually move your teeth into their desired positions.

Wearing the Aligners

You will receive a set of aligner trays that need to be worn for about 20-22 hours per day, only removing them to eat, drink, brush, and floss. As you progress through the treatment, you will switch to a new set of aligners approximately every two weeks, with each set bringing you closer to your desired smile.

Regular Check-ups

Throughout your clear aligner treatment, you will have periodic check-ups at A Street Dental to monitor your progress. These appointments allow Dr. Blake Anderson to ensure that your teeth are moving as planned and make any necessary adjustments to your treatment plan.

Discreet Appearance

Clear aligners are virtually invisible when worn, allowing you to straighten your teeth without drawing attention to your orthodontic treatment. This makes them an excellent choice for individuals who prefer a more discreet option.

Removable Convenience

Unlike traditional braces, clear aligners are removable. This means you can enjoy your favorite foods without any dietary restrictions. Additionally, brushing and flossing your teeth are much easier since you can take out the aligners for oral hygiene routines.

Improved Comfort

Clear aligners are custom-made to fit your teeth comfortably. They are made of smooth plastic material, reducing the chances of irritation or discomfort often associated with metal braces.

Did you know…

Clear aligners are designed to exert gentle pressure on your teeth to guide them into proper alignment.
